Terrence Yong will lead sales, business strategy development and oversee SAP operations in Malaysia. – SAP pic, October 1, 2015. SAP SE today named Terrence Yong as managing director for Malaysia.
He was previously vice-president, head of sales for SAP Malaysia, where he undertook full responsibility for software-related business for SAP Malaysia.
As MD, Yong will lead sales, business strategy development and oversee SAP operations in Malaysia. He will also be responsible for helping businesses in Malaysia “run better and simpler”.
Yong joined SAP in 2006, where he grew the SME business segment in the manufacturing industry. In 2008, Yong moved to Singapore and held various sales and support roles at SAP Singapore.
A 16-year IT veteran, Yong has experience in product marketing, strategic management of the SME and enterprise business, as well as in leading operations.
Yong foresees “exciting times ahead as Malaysia transforms into Digital Malaysia by 2020”. – October 1, 2015.
