The cafe scene has probably thrived due to the college students nearby who trawl the area for refreshing beverages and free WiFi, and maybe even a few digital nomads. It’s not as densely populated as these Top 50 Cafes in KL, but here’s what we found!

Bros Cafe

This Korean cafe took up a healthy two storeys, standing out from afar with a clean, grey exterior and "Bros Cafe" splashed across the upper floor. We walked into a well-lit room and were greeted by a counter with a mini tabletop signpost pointing us at "cash only", "self-service", "order" and "pick up".

The barista at the counter was a cheerful Korean girl who helped us get through the menu by educating and showing us beautiful photos of the menu food and desserts on a separate shiny iPad.

It tasted pleasantly like roasted nuts, and was said to have anti-cancer medicinal properties.

The heaping snow ice mountain that made up our Caramel Popcorn Bingsoo (RM20) was much larger than we expected and came in a super-sized bowl topped with green tea matcha ice cream and glistening kernels of crunchy caramel popcorn.

A scoop of creamy matcha ice cream topped with dried fruits, nuts and a traditional Korean grain powder.

Chars Cafe

A half-covered shopfront was all we could see at first, but behind the blinds lies a simple glass front with "Char’s Cafe" etched into it. We are always game for mystery, so in we went, welcomed by a stream of smooth, modern jazz and an immediate sense of quiet and relaxation.

The quiet, upscale atmosphere and presence of Macbooks had us wishing we had our own workstations with us as it is quite a suitable place for work or study.

If you are looking for a unique hot infusion in Seremban, this is it, people.

We dub it the Milky Waffle galaxy! – HungryGoWhere pic, October 22, 2015.We dub it the Milky Waffle galaxy! – HungryGoWhere pic, October 22, 2015.Then came the crème de la crème, the Fruity Waffle (RM12.90.) We thought we’d had enough after the recent gruelling gauntlet review of the best waffles in KL, but our appetites recovered upon seeing this crispy, fluffy dessert crowned with strawberries, blueberries, banana and kiwi. It was also garnished with powdered sugar that looked like dusty, sugary stars on the glossy, black plate. Each bite tasted like crunch, warm and yum.
