Having recently set up shop in Bangsar Shopping Centre, they are well-versed in bean origins and fair trade, even taking steps to inject sustainable business practices via their beautifully designed, refillable chocolate boxes.
The bittersweet offerings are varied to suit almost any taste - melty centres, bars and coins, truffles, or even brittles and barks!
Dapur Sainer
Take it from the huge chilli addicts that we are, these jars of gourmet chilli oils and pickles from Dapur Sainer are fantastic! Adilah Ahmad-Sainer has used her travels and household experience to create her own line of condiments that are ready to eat, or can be used to cut down on cooking time. The creator has even tweaked her traditional recipe to suit both eastern and western tastes. Just check out the virtual cooking classes she has up on YouTube.

Located in the unlikely neighbourhood of “Hakka heartland,” Seri Kembangan, I Luv Desserts is the local sweets headquarters for all sweettooths in the area. They are a collection of small-batch artisanal offerings, as each vendor pays roughly RM20 and above for a spot in this storefront. So everything here varies from day to day, tempting the palate no matter what your poison is.
The prices are fairly cheap too (RM2 and above), especially considering they offer things like Stevia-sweetened milkshakes, freshly baked cakes, cookies, spreads, and cooking pastes!

This amazing simple garlic butter spread goes with almost anything lah. Be it bread, chicken, grilled vegetables, or popcorn! They currently stock their jars at Pop by Jaya one, but they also do door-to-door deliveries around KL and PJ for a small fee! You can also find them at festivals in Malaysia, like recent ones in Penang or Ipoh! We mentioned popcorn earlier, well don’t miss out on their celebratory paper cones of garlicky, buttery, popcorn!
