"Why must use OSA? If there's nothing to hide the report should be revealed," Shafie said after a visit to his constituency, Semporna today.

Yesterday, the A-G's final report on 1MDB to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was classified as a document under OSA.

The A-G yesterday briefed PAC members on the final report at the Parliament building, and the briefing is scheduled to continue on Monday.

Shafie said PAC was accountable to the public on its probe into 1MDB.

"Being under Parliament, the public should be given access to the report. Public should know what truly went on in PAC's probe," he said.

"That is why it is named as a 'public', not private investigation, so why the need to put in under OSA?

"Why want it to be hidden?" – March 5, 2016.
