Illustrator Jessica Hagy is the creator of the Webby-winning blog Indexed, which showcases her business-centric drawings that tell jokes or offer up clever observations using juxtapositions of graphs, diagrams and management-speak.

Her style is a fitting match for Sun Tzu's seminal work, a frequent inspiration for business tycoons, both confirmed and aspiring.

Hagy has illustrated the Chinese general's 2,500-year-old text – translated by Lionel Giles – with more than 200 ink-brush diagrams using bold typography.

"The Art of War Visualized: The Sun Tzu Classic in Charts and Graphs" is due out March 10 from Workman Publishing in paperback, e-book and hardcover editions. – AFP/Relaxnews, March 4, 2015.
