Bring on the memoirs: John Fogerty, Elvis Costello, Johnny Marr

John Fogerty is the latest in a recent string of musicians to announce they have memoirs on the way.

Here is a look at some musical autobiographies coming up in 2015 and beyond.

John Fogerty: "Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music" (October 6, 2015)

Announced this week, the Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman will cover his Northern California roots, the success of Creedence and his revival as a solo artist in "Fortunate Son," named for the classic track by the '60s band.

Elvis Costello: "Unfaithful Music and Disappearing Ink" (October 2015)

The multi-faceted British musician — born Declan Patrick MacManus — will cover his successful four-decade career, still going thanks to a "combination of dumb luck and animal cunning," writes publisher Penguin.

Brian Wilson (2015?)

The founding Beach Boys member is having a banner year, with an album, a tour and the biographical movie "Love & Mercy" hitting theatres.

Back in 2013, Random House Canada announced an autobiography the musical mastermind was working on with Jason Fine of Rolling Stone, with a plan to publish in 2015; details and release date are still TBA.

Johnny Marr (Fall 2016)

Marr's autobiography was announced in March, with details to follow. The co-founding member of the Smiths alongside Morrissey, the guitarist has more recently worked with bands including Modest Mouse and The Pretenders and launched a solo career, with a second album out last year.

Julie Andrews (September 2017)

The British actress and singer's second memoir after 2007's "Home" will begin in the 1960s and include three decades of stories about her life and career, according to publisher Hachette Books, including the time she spent filming "Mary Poppins" and "The Sound of Music." — AFP/Relaxnews, April 6, 2015.
