James Patterson to publish children’s books

Speaking at BookExpo America in New York, Patterson said that he is setting up a new publishing imprint – “Jimmy Patterson” with a goal of publishing up to 12 books a year.
He plans to write as many as six books himself and the others will be acquired from other authors.
Despite huge success in the crime genre, Patterson is no stranger to younger readers and has already created eight specific series of books aimed at children and young adults.
