βThe hit documentary might be available to all Netflix subscribers around the world, but until now, the book that inspired "Making a Murderer" was only available in the US.
However, on Monday, Random House imprint Windmill Books announced that "The Innocent Killer" written by US lawyer Michael Griesbach, is being published in the UK and Commonwealth countries initially in eBook form.
The book, which examines how Steven Avery was wrongfully convicted of sexual assault in 1985 and the events that followed his exoneration will go on sale digitally on January 21 with a paperback version following on February 11. β AFP, January 19, 2016.
