YouTube hit Smosh launching comic books

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the deal with Dynamite Entertainment will see Padilla and Hecox involved heavily in the creative process, with plans to develop new and existing characters and storylines.

The first releases are expected by the holiday season in comic book stores and for digital download.

Smosh launched as a YouTube channel in 2005 and now has more than 30 million subscribers across multiple YouTube channels. – AFP, May 20, 2015.
