Securities Commission appoints new deputy chief executive effective April 1
The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has appointed Ahmad Fairuz Zainol Abidin as deputy chief executive effective April 1, 2016.
In a statement today, SC said Ahmad Fairuz would replace Datuk Dr Nik Ramlah Mahmood who would retire on March 31.
Ahmad Fairuz, 46, is currently the executive director of enforcement of the SC and a deputy public prosecutor.
As the deputy chief executive, he would be responsible in overseeing the SC's enforcement, intermediary and fund supervision, and market and corporate supervision functions. – Bernama, March 4, 2016.
