Carvana: the world’s first coin-operated car vending machine
Yesterday Carvana announced the launch of the first car vending machine in Nashville, Tennessee.
Customers wishing to buy a car can now do so online, and pick up their vehicle from a giant car vending machine in Tennessee.
Carvana, namedForbes' fifth most promising company, has designed a machine that delivers cars much like "a can of soda is dispensed from a traditional vending machine."
The multi-storey structure, however, does not accept regular coins, but a custom token picked up at a kiosk that corresponds to the client's order.
The tower can hold up to 20 cars and contains three customer delivery bays and an automated delivery system.
The Carvana Vending Machine is open from Monday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm CST, at 4270 Kenilwood Drive, Nashville, Tennessee. – AFP Relaxnews, November 13, 2015.
