Ducati Monster Stripe underlines sportier credentials
Ducati has launched a new, more exclusive version of its iconic and extremely popular streetfighting bike, with a choice of two engine sizes.
Called The Stripe, partly on account of its double white stripe detailing on the fuel tank and mudguards, the 821cc version also comes with adjustable forks, a shorter swing-arm for extra agility and LCD instrumentation.
The more powerful 1200cc version gets TFT instrumentation, a performance undertail plate holder, carbon fibre belt covers and fully adjustable suspension. Both bikes get Ducati's ABS and traction control systems.
First showcased at the EICMA bike show in November, both Monsters are now available to order. – AFP/Relaxnews, May 30, 2015.
