Skoda details Superb estate
The Volkswagen-owned automaker has released the first official images and specifications of its flagship car in station wagon form.
Set to make its real-world debut at the Frankfurt motor show this September, the 2015 Superb estate boasts sharper lines and even more luggage space than the car it replaces.
There are 660 liters of space in the rear – 27 more than the previous model – and with the rear seats folded down that number more than doubles to 1950 liters.
Initial engines will include 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel units and a 280PS 2-liter twin-turbo petrol powerplant.
The car is expected to go on sale in Europe before the end of 2015 alongside the sedan version. – AFP, May 27, 2015.
