Fiat Automobiles has snagged the Star Wars look that turns its 2008 European Car of the Year into a piece of sci-fi headwear on wheels.

The Fiat 500e Stormtrooper has a custom colour scheme plus a windshield and side windows wrap that gives it the look of a First Order Stormtrooper's protective helmet.

The black and white theme continues with the supermini's interior that envelops leather and Alcantara upholstered front and rear seats, with a "Star Wars" logo placed on the dash and a First Order insignia placed on the leather-wrapped steering wheel.

And if the 500e Stormtrooper wouldn't look out of place next to a Karl Lagerfeld capsule collection, Fiat has an official fashion brand link-up in the form of the custom-wrapped DVF Fiat 500X, named after fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg.

Meanwhile, Ford's Transit Connect isn't so much miniwagon as it is Minionwagonafter a crossover with Universal Pictures' "Minions."

If we all thought Snoopy flies a Sopwith Camel, it turns out that he drives a Mercedes-Benz van, at least for now, as the Peanuts gang are going on a promotional tour of Germany.

That's ahead of "The Peanuts Movie" getting its domestic German-language premiere on December 23, while a 30-second computer animated commercial, "Snoopy's Biggest Ride," does the job on TV.
