2015 had many new food outlets that caught the public eye and caused huge lines, much likeHave you tried these spots, and did you think they were worth lining up for?

Merchant's Lane
Five minutes away from the Pasar Seni LRT station, Merchant’s Lane is an Instagram darling of a café that has captured the hearts of its admirers with its unique colour scheme, decor, and natural lighting.
Hungry people fall in line to enter this architectural statement that bridges the cultural heritage of its Chinatown surroundings and the modern day in this first floor café.
Some of their attractive East-Meets-West offerings include their infamous big breakfast variation, Eat Die Me (RM26). Your choice of beef, chicken, or lamb sausages, eggs cooked your way, a cheese-baked tomato, sauteed mushrooms, cream corn, house-made hash and a large tear of bread to sop up the remainder.
Also popular is the Hongkie Beef Stew (RM19), a shallow bowl of beef chunks braised until loose in a Cantonese gravy for 12 hours and served atop silky mashed potatoes.
Dinner in the Sky Malaysia
Following in the footsteps of Las Vegas, Dubai, Cape Town, and other wonderful cities of the world, Malaysians got the elusive chance to dine like no other suspended 50 metres mid-air above KL grounds. Dinner In The Sky Malaysia tickets were priced at RM599 per head and were sold out in 48 hours to experience this once-in-a-lifetime dining experience! While this may not pass off as a traditional restaurant by definition, we simply could not afford to ignore the fanfare and excitement it created.
Diners who persevered and patiently waited to get on the online booking system for one of 22 seats were treated to a luxe five-course meal prepared exclusively by chef Marc Fery and his very capable team from Hilton Kuala Lumpur.
The success of Dinner In The Sky led to the extension of the event from its planned one-month schedule to five dining sessions per night (inclusive of desserts-only session) beyond their initial plans.
Rocku Yakiniku

The beef was thinly sliced, seasoned simply with a drizzle of oil and a sprinkle of sesame seeds and spring onions. It only requires a quick lay on the grill, though you may also dress it after with your choice of three house sauces – ponzu, spicy miso, chilli.
Cook and dine to your heart’s desire, and worry not about your freshly-washed hair or clothes, you won’t be haunted by the vengeful smell of meat, thanks to Rocku’s fancy exhaust system.
