Bring home any of Shangri-La's four varieties of roast turkey and impress family and friends at your Christmas dinner party. – December 9, 2015.As Christmas approaches, celebrate the season by gathering family and friends for a festive feast! Be it takeaways for a cosy home-cooked affair, or a lavish hotel buffet, there’s something for everyone, and at any budget.

Le Meridien

Make Christmas with family and friends a memorable one at any of Le Meridien's acclaimed restaurants. For buffet lovers, Latest Recipe will be offering a Christmas Eve buffet dinner at RM188 nett per person and Christmas Day brunch at RM175 nett per person, both chock-full of international delights for every palate.

Guests can also choose to class it up at PRIME steakhouse or the Venetian-inspired Favola for quality cuts of meat and inventive Italian fare. Both restaurants will be serving a festive four-course menu at RM350 nett and RM250 nett respectively.

For something more casual, enjoy a three-course Christmas Eve dinner in the relaxed ambiance of Gastro Sentral. With a diverse offering of global dishes, the dinner is priced at RM168 nett.

Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC)

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at KLGCC's Golfer's Terrace with a Christmas buffet dinner. Modelled after a hawker stall concept with individual stations, the dinner is available from 6.30pm to 9.30pm from 24 to 27 December at only RM77.50 nett per person and RM38.75 nett per child.

The restaurant will also be offering a Christmas weekend brunch from 25 to 27 December with live cooking stations that prepare your food right before your very eyes. The brunch runs from 11am to 3.30pm and is priced at RM65 nett per person and RM32.50 nett per child.

Looking for an impressive turkey to bring along for that Christmas pot luck party? You can’t go wrong with Shangri-La Hotel which is offering a variety of roast turkeys to take home. Go traditional with a whole roast turkey with apple, chestnut and raisin stuffing with orange cranberry relish, or try out the tandoori turkey with biryani stuffing with a tangy pineapple dried cranberry chutney and tomato butter gravy.

The roast turkeys are available to takeaway at Lemon Garden 2Go from 2 December to 25 December. They are priced at RM580 for the smallest size (four to six persons), RM680 at medium (eight to 10 persons) and RM780 for the largest (10 to 12 persons). Remember to place your orders in advance.

Resorts World Genting

Escape to a Christmas wonderland filled with Asian and international cuisine, and lots of colourful dessert to boot. – December 9, 2015. If you’re game for a little adventure this Christmas, consider spending Christmas in cool and refreshing Genting. While you’re there, check out the Escape to Wonderland Christmas buffet at Resorts World Genting’s Coffee Terrace. For the entire month of December, the coffee house will be decked out in bright and colourful themes, with an impressive dessert and sweets section especially for the kids and the young at heart.

The buffet is priced at RM55 for adults and RM20 for kids for lunchtime, and RM88 and RM35 for dinner.

Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral

Get fashionable for Christmas at Aloft's chic all-day dining eatery, Nook, with a sumptuous festive buffet. Available for dinner on Christmas Eve and lunch on Christmas Day, the buffet will surely have something for everyone in the family at only RM100 nett per pax. Guests can also choose to add on sparkling wines and champagne.

The Westin Kuala Lumpur

Get festive in the heart of the city at The Westin Kuala Lumpur with a wonderland-themed buffet at The Living Room, which is offering a Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day brunch. For a little Asian flair, Five Sen5es is offering an oriental Christmas dim sum brunch featuring the finest Cantonese cuisine in the city. The brunch is priced at only RM128 nett.

Otherwise, celebrate the season with bubbly with Prego's Bubbalicious dinner on Christmas Eve or Bubbalicious brunch on Christmas Day. Enjoy Italian-inspired dishes at RM198 nett or toast to the festive season with free flow alcoholic drinks and champagne for RM438 nett.

Neroteca, Plaza Damansara

Instead of the usual turkey, why not try Neroteca's suckling pig? – December 9, 2015.Italian diner, Neroteca, has prepared a special five-course festive feast which includes seabass carpaccio, Italian Christmas soup with beans and crab pasta as the starter, soup and entree respectively.

For the mains, diners can choose from porchetta (suckling pig), agnello (lamb rack) or baccala (grilled cod). The special dish would have to be the porchetta, which is said to be the Italian equivalent of the Christmas turkey. The porchetta and porchettoni (suckling piglet) are also available to takeaway at RM380++.

Sheraton Imperial

Enjoy Christmas Eve at Essence with a buffet dinner featuring highlights like herb and honey whole chicken and Australian prime rib with Yorkshire pudding for RM188 nett. On Christmas Day itself, the little ones are sure to love the activities planned for the buffet brunch which includes a clown, live band and free giveaways!

At rustic trattoria Villa Danieli, indulge in a five-course dinner menu on Christmas Eve with lamb raviolo with aromatic truffle sauce, pan-seared cod fillet and much more at RM280 nett per person.
