It may even be safe to say that it is not for the weak hearted, as it explodes with warm and intense chocolaty goodness from start to finish.

The Elegant Dessert Bowl

Every now and then, one chances upon a dessert that exudes uniqueness from the very first glance. MAD About Coco’s The Elegant Dessert Bowl (RM19.08) is one such indulgence, with its delicate arrangement. It will serenade you with its beautiful flavours, particularly the way in which its fragrant Earl Grey jelly, light cremeux, strong chocolate mousse and contrasting salted caramel balance each other.

Sacher Torte

Tous Le Jours's take on the classic Austrian sacher torte cake (RM11.90) is a handsome, moist piece of culinary art. Featuring primarily dark chocolate, each spoonful of cake melts in your mouth, immersing your taste buds in an intense cocoa flavour.

Its slightly bitter aftertaste is a nice finish to its mildly sweet body, and its sheer denseness justifies the cake's relatively smaller portions compared to other slices found in the bakery-cafe.The most famous cake in the world since 1832. 7 Sins of Chocolate

A child of Delectable Treats, 7 Sins of Chocolate (RM13) is a dessert  as rich in taste as it is in appearance. Featuring components like a dark chocolate cake, velvety ganache and milk chocolate mousse, this layered delicacy is a parade of textures and flavours that is both playful and powerful. The real temptation we faced. – HungryGoWhere pic, October 19, 2015.The real temptation we faced. – HungryGoWhere pic, October 19, 2015.

This is why we would recommend sharing this dessert, as it can be quite a mouthful – literally – to conquer alone. Keeping something this good to yourself would be an even greater sin anyway!

Nutella Crepe with Gelato

There are times when chocolate makes us feel like pampered children, and Gelatomio Lounge’s Nutella crepe with gelato (RM18.80) does just that.

Composed of a thin and chewy warm crepe slathered with the hazelnut-chocolate spread and topped with three scoops of gelato of your choice, this sweet treat does not hesitate to showcase just how sinful it is.

We recommend having a scoop each of the double chocolate, chocolate peanut butter and chocolate hazelnut gelatos to complete the experience.
