Starbucks releases Halloween-themed frozen drinks
Starbucks' new vampire-inspired Halloween drink. – AFP/Relaxnews pic, October 27, 2015. Starbucks has released a Halloween-themed frozen drink that evokes bloodthirsty vampires with raspberry syrup.
This season, the Frappula Frappuccino serves as a follow-up to last year's green tea Franken Frappuccino and will be available at stores around the world.
A drizzle of raspberry syrup adds a suggestively gruesome note to the frozen drink made with white chocolate sauce, milk, ice, mocha sauce and whipped cream.
The beverage is now available in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand, but will be sold for a limited time in the US between October 28 and 31, and in Canada sales will be extended a day through November 1.
In Europe and Latin America, the Halloween drink is the Vampire Frappuccino, a crème-based chocolate Frappuccino blended with strawberry sauce.
Dates for the UK and Europe are October 26 to November 1 and in Latin America October 30 to November 2. – AFP/Relaxnews, October 27, 2015.
