Adenan welcomes government programmes in Sarawak

He said he welcomed any programmes undertaken by federal ministers in the state as long as they benefited the people.

He said this at the launch of the Kembara Kebajikan 1Malaysia and Kembara Kasih@KPWKM programmes organised by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry at the Lundu Sports Complex.

Also present was Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim.

Adenan said development had come to the people in the state, adding that such progress would continue to be brought to them.

He urged the people in Sarawak to give their full support to the Barisan Nasional (BN) government in the coming state election.

Adenan added that he welcomed contributions from all quarters to aid the needy.

He said the state government was very happy with the concern showed by the ministry in providing facilities and assistance to people with disabilities in  Sarawak with the setting up of the new community centre in Satok, Kuching. – Bernama, March 11, 2016.
