‘Game of Thrones’ trailer racks up record-breaking views
'Game of Thrones' season six debuts April 24 on HBO. – AFP/Relaxnews pic, March 11, 2016."Game of Thrones" fans helped the fantasy drama break another record this week, pulling in 30 million views in less than 24 hours for its latest trailer after debuting on Tuesday.
Between the eight million YouTube hits and and 22 million hits on Facebook, the trailer for season six marked an all-time high for the show's network HBO, points out Variety.
For comparison, the trailer for season five racked 27 million views in its first day.
The last season also averaged 20.2 million viewers per episode between streaming, DVR playback and repeats.
