‘Jumanji’ reschedules for summer of 2017
The film remake of "Jumanji" based on the 1980s book by author Chris Van Allsburg will hit theatres in summer 2017.
Initially set for Christmas 2016, the release of Sony's "Jumanji" will take place July 28 reports the Hollywood News. Sony's "Spider-man" with Marvel will be released earlier the same summer on July 7, 2017.
Jake Kasdan of "New Girl" fame will direct the adaptation while Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pikner have written the screenplay.
