The return of the sci-fi series to the small screen pulled in 13.5 million total viewers and a 5.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic on Sunday, according to Nielsen estimates.

The early numbers are not complete, however, and will be time-zone adjusted.

The series premiere was slotted after the NFC Championship game on Sunday but will shift to its regular Monday night slot on Fox for the next five episodes.

More accurate numbers are expected to be released later today. – AFP/Relaxnews, January 26, 2016.
