As always, Canon’s hybrid ink system, which is a combination of pigment black ink and dye colours, can be expected to render excellent photo printouts when used with genuine Canon paper and sharper black text when printed on office-grade paper.
The PIXMA G3000 also makes easy work of borderless photo prints of up to A4 sizes while a 4R borderless photo is ready in a mere 60 seconds!
For many of us, time is of the essence, and Canon has thoughtfully fitted the PIXMA G3000 with little touches that facilitate convenience.
For instance, monitoring your ink supply is a breeze – each ink tank is see-through, so there is no need to open up the printer to check on ink levels.
Meanwhile the ink bottles, built with screw-down caps, are spill-resistant while ensuring easy ink flow during refilling.
So, unlike a number of printers in the market, there’ll be no smears or splatters during a refill with the PIXMA G3000.
It’s also worth mentioning that this is Canon’s first inkjet printer that comes equipped with a refillable ink tank system, which is integrated neatly within the printer body.
Like the PIXMA G1000 and PIXMA G2000, the PIXMA G3000 is pretty lightweight. And at a dimension of 445 x 330 x 163 mm (WDH), this printer fits snugly into any nook.
Ultimately, though, the PIXMA G3000 outpaces its siblings with its additional wireless features.
