Facebook simplifies ‘Notes’ blogging feature
Facebook has blown the dust off a little-used blogging feature called "Notes", making it easy to use and elegant to look at.
Originally intended for text too long to fit into a status update, the Notes feature started in 2006 and was widely ignored, according to The Next Web, who spotted the story.
In what seems to be a move to win bloggers back from sites such as Tumblr, Facebook has confirmed the changes to the feature are a test.
"We're testing an update to Notes to make it easier for people to create and read longer-form stories on Facebook," a spokesperson told The Next Web. – AFP/Relaxnews, August 18, 2015.
