Announced for release across multiple console formats, "Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is careful not to spoil the film on which it is based with a debut trailer played for laughs.

Familiarity with adverts for 2015's highest grossing film, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," is necessary in order to enjoy the slapstick of this digital, Lego edition, but not much more.

But tantalisingly, for fans of the film franchise, "Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens" promises to provide some overlap with the period between "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" and the most recent film.

Lego versions of film characters Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, BB-8, Kylo Ren, General Hux and Captain Phasma are confirmed for the game.

A June 28 release beckons for the Warner Bros game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo 3DS. – AFP/Relaxnews, February 3, 2016.
