Latest Skype update brings users additional security
The changes included in the Skype update will significantly limit unwanted traffic from malicious users.
Skype revealed on its blog that it will now keep users' IP addresses hidden by default in the latest versions of the programme.
The modification is designed to prevent malicious Skype users from obtaining a Skype ID and resolving to an IP address.
Although the update was addressed primarily to gamers, the update is available for both desktop and mobile devices and users are advised to update their versions. – AFP/Relaxnews, January 23, 2016.
