LG unveils new cellular Android wear connected smartwatch
LG Electronics has provided the world with a sneak peek of the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition, the first Android Wear 4G compatible connected watch.
Capable of connecting via 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, the wearable device works with Android smartphones or alone, and comes with a resolution of 480 x 480.
The smartwatch, which the company unveiled at an event to present its V10 smartphone, resembles a classic timepiece, with a diameter of 44.5mm and a hairline-etched stainless steel body, but boasts a high-capacity 570mAh battery.
It comes with 16 watch faces, and users will be able to use fitness-related features such as heart-rate tracking, workout tips and stress level monitoring.
The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will be available first in the United States and Korea, followed by markets in Europe, CIS, Asia and the Middle East.
