LinkedIn launches new messaging and chat service

The company says it is responding to user demand for easier ways to get in touch with professional peers.

The new site will feature a more streamlined appearance with a chat-style messaging service, as well as better message organisation and email notification.

Users will also now be able to attach documents and photos to messages, in addition to stickers and emojis.

The new service is rolling out on both the web and mobile versions of LinkedIn. – AFP, September 2, 2015.
