Over 30 million PlayStation 4 units sold worldwide
The Sony Playstation 4 has sold 30.2 million units as of November 22. – AFP Relaxnews pic, November 26, 2015.The Playstation 4 (PS4) has become the most successful PlayStation in Sony's history, with over 30 million units sold worldwide, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. has revealed.
As of November 22, the entertainment system has been sold 30.2 million times, making it the fastest and strongest-growing Playstation console yet. It is currently available in 124 countries and regions worldwide.
As well as being popular with gamers, the PS4 platform, first released in November 2013, allows access to a variety of services available on the PlayStation Network, including Playstation Plus membership service, apps for streaming video, music and TV content.
The PS4 system's games portfolio will get a boost this holiday season, with upcoming titles including "Dragon Quest Builders," "Gravity Rush Remastered" and "Unchartered 4: A Thief's End". – AFP Relaxnews, November 26, 2015.
