Samsung unveils Galaxy A9 in China

Compared with its predecessor the Galaxy A8, Samsung’s newest smartphone boasts a never-been-seen-before 6-inch screen reports online publication Mashable

The device is equipped with a non-removable battery, extending battery life significantly.

Operating on Android Lollipop 5.1, the smartphone has a fingerprint scanner and supports the mobile payment service Samsung Pay that has recently been launched in Asia.

Thicker than the Galaxy A8, the new phone is set to go on sale in January in China. No release dates have been made for the metal and glass design in other markets around the world. – AFP/RelaxNews, December 25, 2015.
