Spotify launches original radio programming to rival Apple Music
Spotify has launched radio-like content called 'In Residence'. – AFP/Relaxnews pic, October 28, 2015.Spotify has launched its answer to Apple Music's Beats 1 station with its own original radio programming called "In Residence".
For its launch, the music streaming service has recruited Sex Pistols member Steve Jones, Jungle, Big Narstie, Tonga, to create public playlists that feature a mix of tracks and conversational segments.
Unlike Beats 1, shows on In Residence are pre-recorded and not live.
