Held at Genting International Showroom, a cast of seven world-class illusionists come together to bring their own brand of magic and personality to the stage.

The show is led by Jay Mattioli, who has appeared on America's Got Talent, making it all the way to the Top 10. When asked to describe magic in one word, he said it had to be “fun”. And what fun it was!

With a combination of magic, dance, light shows and humour, Jay's performances were upbeat and entertaining. A natural on the stage, he introduced each magician with such enthusiasm he got the audience pumped up.

With a diverse cast of magicians, the art of magic is interpreted differently by each performer making for anything from the oldest tricks in the book to a more modern take on the art with acts incorporating technology in well, magical, ways.

It may be one of the most common magic tricks but it was no less entertaining as we wondered where the birds kept coming from!

On the modern front, there's Ted Kim from South Korea and Jeff Lee from Taiwan, both using technology to spice up their performances.

Ted's performance was a magical light show that speaks to the inner child in all of us, making references to popular video games like Super Mario Brothers and even Upin and Ipin!

As for Jeff, a simple TV was used to create illusionary effects as he continuously pulled objects out of the screen, much to the audience's amazement.

One Gun, also from South Korea, doesn't just have the looks of a K-pop star but the skills of a world-class magician. He took quick costume changes to a whole other level as his popular T-shirt act saw him switch and change outfits in the blink of an eye.

The only female magician in the cast, Alana Moelmann, brought out the sexy element to the show.

“I thought it'd be fun to take magic to a more feminine level,” she said, adding that she drew inspiration for her acts from everyday life.

Another big name in the show would be Shawn Farquhar, current president of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Acclaimed by peers to be the sleight of hand artist of our time, your eyes better be able to keep up!
