AirAsia today announced a special 20% off base fares on seats and flights in a one-week exclusive offer as the countdown for the 300 millionth guest begins. – Reuters file pic, July 26, 2015.The AirAsia and AirAsia X groups today announced a special 20% off base fares on seats and flights in a one-week exclusive offer as the countdown for the 300 millionth guest begins.
The special offer is made available in anticipation of the 300 million guests flown milestone and will be available for booking at airasia.com from July 27 until August 2, 2015 for immediate travel from July 28 to Nov 30, 2015.
Apart from the website, the promotion is also applicable for bookings made via AirAsia’s mobile app on iPhone and Android devices, as well as the mobile site mobile.airasia.com.
The offer is applicable to all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights including Fly-Thru services for flight codes AK (Malaysia AirAsia), D7 (Malaysia AirAsia X), FD (Thai AirAsia), XJ (Thai AirAsia X), QZ (Indonesia AirAsia), I5 (India AirAsia), XT (Indonesia AirAsia Extra), PQ and Z2 (Philippines’ AirAsia), and not applicable to XJ (Thai AirAsia X) flights to/from Sapporo, QZ (Indonesia AirAsia) Indonesia domestic flights and Surabaya to/from Bangkok flights.
"We are extremely thrilled as we count down to our 300 millionth guest. Thi would be another milestone for the whole AirAsia and AirAsia X Group," AirAsia's group chief commercial officer, Siegtraund Teh, said in a statement today.
He said the groups were delighted to be able to realise so many people’s dreams to fly and travel the world.
"We look forward to present our 300 millionth guest with a big surprise which will be revealed soon," Teh said.
AirAsiaGo, the holiday division of the low-cost airline, will also be offering special deals for AirAsia and AirAsia X’s guests during this offer period with great savings from as low as RM169 per person for three-day two-night flight and hotel bundle, or RM59 per night for hotel accommodation only.
