From buzzing metropolitan cities to culture hotspots or beach paradises, British Airways has chosen their must-visit destinations across the United Kingdom and Europe for the new year.

Madrid, Spain
One of the largest cities in Europe, the capital of Spain is a haven for the cultured traveller with a number of historic museums. It is home to the Golden Triangle of Art, which consists of three art museums: Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Reykjavik, Iceland
