Maldives’ first private resort snags title of world’s best all-inclusive resort

Because on the list of the best, all-inclusive resorts around the world compiled by TripAdvisor, service, setting, amenities and accommodations are lush and grand, with the top spot occupied by the Kurumba Maldives, the first private resort to open on the paradisiacal island getaway.
At the Kurumba Maldives, guests stay in pool villas or beach bungalows that offer panoramic views of their tropical surroundings and are immersed in local authentic Maldivian culture, with cooking demonstrations, dance performances, traditional spa treatments that use indigenous ingredients, painting classes with local artists and tours of the capital city, Malé.
Overall, TripAdvisor’s list of Top 25 All-Inclusive Resorts is dominated by Mexico, which took up nearly half (12) of the 25 spots.
The Dominican Republic is the second most represented destination on the list with four spots.
Winners are determined using an algorithm that takes into account the quantity and quality of reviews for all-inclusive resorts over the last 12 months.
