SAP Malaysia won three out of eight awards at the Computerworld Malaysia Readers Choice Awards (RCA) ceremony recently.
SAP won for data analytics, enterprise resource planning and supply chain management in the enterprise application category.
The event was hosted by Executive Networks Media.
ENM chief executive officer Mark Hobson said that “despite budget constraints and the continuing saga of transformation, it is inspiring to see the innovative drive to perfection displayed by solutions providers here. By further building on partnership roles with their customers, the winners have set the gold standard of operating excellence even higher.”
RCA is widely regarded as the “Oscars of the Malaysia IT industry” as nominees are nominated and chosen by customers themselves.
SAP Malaysia managing director Bernard Chiang said the local ICT industry was now past technology alone.
“We've even gone past the stage of helping customers do what they need. In today's highly competitive world, we're constantly anticipating new and creative ways our customers can increase their business. That's why we're in the business of helping businesses run better, which is to 'Run Simple,” said Chiang.
"To fulfil our mission, we run simple by helping master complexity so that our customers can run at their best while realising greater productivity and operational efficiencies”. – October 10, 2014.
