The Lahad Datu police chief now denies knowing anything about any impending Sulu attack to the town while a senior Special Branch official says they had sketchy details but no real intelligence. Is there a wonder how a ragtag bunch of gunmen could land in Sabah and say they want it back? Whatever happened to our much touted Special Branch that won the war against communist terrorists? It looks like the standards have gone down the drain that we have a force that doesn't know much and can't even keep our streets and country safe from harm.
